Autumn is upon us!

Wow this summer went by fast. Almost too fast. I've had a lot going on this summer. I haven't been able to create as much as I would have liked but that happens. With fall right around the corner that means things will slow down a bit for me. Or at least they should. I'll just have to wait and see. I'm hoping to be able to focus more on getting things ready for next year. I'm planning for a whole lot of new stuff. :)

This last month I have been working more on the business side of things. Setting up tax information correctly (still not sure it is), working on my marketing techniques (it's not going the best), narrowing down my audience and etc. I even designed a notepad I can take to events where people can sign up for my monthly newsletter. It's not the most fun stuff but it's all stuff that needs to be done and will hopefully help me in the end. I've managed to make a few small art pieces over the month but nothing big unfortunately. This month I'm hoping to get back into the artsy side of the business more. I've got some design ideas for t-shirts and mugs. If you know of Patreon keep an eye out for me on there too. If you aren't aware of what Patreon is it is this awesome website that allows creators of all kinds to build membership businesses and a following. It allows artists like myself to get to know their followers better and gives loyal followers some awesome perks. Some of the perks I'm thinking of are monthly cards, mini paintings and who knows what else. This month I will have that all set up. I'm also going to pick back up with a project I set aside a few months ago. That project is a surprise for later. Does anyone like to color? :)
