We've all seen the iconic movie Titanic, right? And let's face it, most of us girls had a crush on Jack at one point in our lives, thus making some scenes unforgettable to us. As an artist my favorite scene is when Jack sketches Rose laying on the sofa (I like the sketch), but for some reason my immature brain at the time turned the intimate moment into something funny by imagining the two as naked mole rats. Well, as a grown ass adult I can say that the mental image stuck around and has made it difficult to watch the movie ever since. Thus, this weird and awesome illustration was made. Whether you love the movie, are sick of the movie or love cracking jokes about it this illustration is the perfect way to showcase your love, hate or what have you for the film.
Measuring at 12" wide by 9" high in size, this illustration is designed to look old fashioned, sleek and humorous. Every minute detail has been painstakingly drawn by hand, including the iconic necklace and the woodgrain of the bottom of the sofa. The best part of this illustration is not just the bit of nostalgia the words and scene bring but the humorous approach in changing the characters to something so weird and out there that not even your girlfriend with a love for the movie will ever be able to watch that scene without busting into a fit of giggles.
Each print comes matted with an acid free white mat board to fit a 16" by 20" frame. Art prints are made on recycled paper using soy based inks.
