The tank is running empty

Jul 30th 2019

Oh boy. I am so.... tired. I could use a few nice, long naps. Justin and I successfully made it through the month and more importantly, Hell week. We gave last week that special title due to having work AND 3 events. In addition, at the beginning of the week our car that is not only our daily driver but also our vehicle for hauling everything to events in decided to crap out on us. So we've had to take a different car which is not that big of a deal but still stressful. Plus both the car that crapped out and the one we are currently driving need fixing. Haven't had much time for creating new art either...or sleeping. Ugh...

Anyway, now I have a few days off from work where I can finally relax and get stuff done. Like prepping for the next two events I have. The Madison Makers Market on Saturday, August 3rd and the Northside Farmers Market on Sunday, August 4th. It'll be a busy weekend that's for sure. In addition to that I'm doing housework, updating the website and creating new art. Huh, I guess I'm not really getting any time off now that I look at it. Thankfully, the month of August will be a bit more relaxed for us. After the Madison Makers Market and the Northside Farmers Market this weekend I won't have to do any other events for the month but the Northside Farmers Market one more time and the Bodega. In other words, more time for creating art and catching up on sleep. :)

Here's a look at some of the stuff I have completed during the month and things I'm hoping to finish in August.

Works in progress. I'm low on articles relating to the themes of two pieces but I'll get them done.
