Climate change affects us all, whether that's severe weather changes like heat waves, severely cold winters or what have you, it has reached every part of the globe. One thing it has resulted in most commonly is heat waves that lead to forest fires/bush fires. What we often forget is climate change doesn't just affect us, it affects all wildlife too. In 2020 there were massive bushfires in Australia that endangered many animal species, one of them being the koala. That's why this piece was created, in honor of our furry friend who has been struggling so hard these last few years. Featuring an adorable koala clinging to a branch this piece is perfect for those who love nature and koalas.
Measuring at 12" high by 9" wide in size, this illustration is designed to look sleek and gorgeous. Every minute detail has been painstakingly drawn by hand, including every piece of fur on the koala and every chunk of bark on the tree branch. The best part of this illustration is undoubtedly the koala who seems to stare straight into our soul and understand and accept all that we are. This piece will draw everyone in; make them weep at the decimation koala's have faced these past years, but it will also bring a smile knowing that they have survived and we are helping them.
Each print comes matted with an acid free white mat board to fit an 16" by 20" frame. There are 3 options available for purchase, you can purchase the original illustration, a standard print or a high quality print. Printing differences between the standard print and a high quality print are a nicer, paper type that holds pigment better and a better ink quality that will keep the illustration from fading for many years unlike the standard printer inks. The prints are the same size.
